Murray M. Fuhrer has been a professional writer and broadcaster in Western Canada for over twenty-five years.  He has written an estimated six million words of advertising copy, hundreds of articles in local and regional publications, plus many short stories, and two full-length novels.  He is currently the Creative Director at KG COUNTRY 95.5 FM and ZED-99 in Red Deer.  Murray's popular column "Extreme Esteem" appearing weekly in the Monday Central Alberta Life and Wednesday Red Deer Advocate provides practical advice on self-esteem and personal empowerment.  He was recently distinguished with an Honorary Doctorate in Philosophy from Florida's Cosmopolitan University. 
Murray is a certified, master hypnotist who performs stage hypnosis at many private functions each year, but also has an avid interest in therapeutic hypnosis: specifically, building self-esteem, memory enhancement, phobia removal, past life regressions, focus, and stress management. "My interest in hypnosis goes back nearly thirty years when I had the opportunity to work backstage with Vance Romane - Canada's premier hypnotist."  Murray is the founding member of Writers' Ink -   The Red Deer & District Writers Club and recently edited their 10th Anniversary anthology.  He is an active member of the Red Deer Self-Esteem Society and has sat on the board.  Recently, he launched a new workshop series entitled "Extreme Esteem" using self-hypnosis to build self-esteem and resolve life issues.
